|  Raised on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in North Dakota, he learned early the importance of family and Indian rituals, themes he expresses in his stone sculpture.
He has won many awards at Santa Fe's Indian market and in 1993-1994, became the first Indian to be named the national Earth Day artist. His work is at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. |
