Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:

Painter. Born in Benicia, CA on Aug. 3, 1864, the son of artist William Swasey.

The younger Swasey was a resident of Berkeley, CA and a picture framer by profession. He painted in the style of his friend William Keith.

He died in Berkeley on Dec. 26, 1954. Exh: Society of Calif. Pioneers, 1959. In: St Mary's College (Moraga, CA). 11 BC, p. 558.
