Alice Weed was born in Boston. She was a student at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts School of Art and the Fenway Studios. She studied with Emile Gruppe, Stanley Woodard and Sears Gallagher.
She was a member of the Rockport Art Association, the North Shore Arts Association and the Copley Society-Boston and Sharon Arts Center, N.H. She taught art in Wellesley, Massachusetts and summered on Cape Ann. She had numerous solo and group shows at (showing 500 of 863 characters). |
