The following biography, submitted November 2004, is from the artist, Franz Brown, now living in Hot Springs, South Dakota:
Franz Brown, born 1950 in Yonkers, NY, began photographing when he was about 16 years old. His father Reynold Brown, a movie poster illustrator, gave him instruction on how to use a camera. His mother, Mary Louise Tejada Brown was a pastel artist.
Franz was the third of eight children. He grew up in Southern California where he graduated from Damian High Scho (showing 500 of 2011 characters). |
