Themes of nature, utility, and the body are evident in the work of emerging artist Kim Cridler. Her interests stem from sentimental sources inspired by a childhood spent caring for the ceramic and silver heirlooms on her familys Michigan farm. Washing, polishing and dusting these objects created an intimate relationship and a sense of care giving that fostered in Cridler an understanding of the combined value of (showing 500 of 9263 characters). |
