Francisco Mora was born in 1952 in Mexico City. He has studied at the following schools: Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes (San Carlos), Escuela Superior de Pintura y Escultura (Mexico City), Giovanni Michelli Studio (Florence Italy), and the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Since 1984 he has lived and worked with his wife, Jennifer, in Milwaukee.

Mora specializes in art work of a fantastic nature. Of his work, he says: "Using bright colors and mythical symbols, I tell stori (showing 500 of 985 characters).
