| Maud Dobler was a well known artists in Rockford, Illinois. She studied at the Art Institute in Chicago with Carl Kraftt and George Oberteuffer. As well as being an artist, she also wrote and performed in her own radio "sitcom" in the 30's on WROK in Rockford. She was "Mrs. Swensen" and performed with a Swedish accent.
