The following biography has been provided August 2004 by Elin Pendleton, the artist.
Elin Pendleton was born in Pennsylvania in 1948, the daughter of a Naval Captain and housewife/pilot. She has been painting professionally since 1982. She is a traditionally trained artist, receiving degrees in fine art from San Diego State University, and studying under Ovanes Berberian, Joyce Pike, and Richard Schmid, among others. She is most powerfully influenced by wavelengths of color and has been (showing 500 of 5933 characters). |
