David Beynon Pena, a portrait painter, graduated from the High School of Art and Design at age 16 and enrolled at the Pratt Phoenix School of Design in New York City. He later studied at the Art Students League of New York and the National Academy of Design School of Fine Arts.
While observing Everett Raymond Kinster conduct a portrait painting workshop at the National Academy, Pena decided to take up portrait painting and to pursue more study with Kinster. Pena, who became Kinster's assi (showing 500 of 1223 characters). |
