Leopold Scholz married American sculptor Belle Kinney in 1921. Many of their works are collaborative efforts including several monumental bronzes and the pediment sculpture of Nashville's replica of the Parthenon. (www.parthenon.org).
Scholz is credited individually for two Works Progress Administration sculptures designed for post offices. "The Mail Carrier" (1936), in Chattanooga, Tenness (showing 500 of 4474 characters). |
