Self-taught painter Sherry Harrington specializes in Native American
portraits. The artist began painting at an early age and by
twelve she was exhibiting at outdoor arts and crafts shows. She
earned enough money at these shows to buy her first car. The
artist also made a contact which led to commercial work for RCA records
for whom she painted pastels of singers including Charly Pride and
Elvis Presley.
Harrington continued to enter local shows
including the Bosq (showing 500 of 2591 characters). |
