The following is from Jan Miller, artist and art teacher.

Jerry Quier attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and specialized in landscapes and still lives, both of which garnered awards and commanded handsome prices. She was still alive when I last tried to visit her at her studio in Bethlehem, PA in about 1995. I do not know if she still maintains her summer studio in Kempton, PA.
