Alice Wickman was born in 1903 in Seattle, Washington and died in 1994 in Roseville, California. She was raised in Oakland and Paso Robles, California and was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley in the 1920's. She married Lester Wickman in 1934 in Oakland, California, and in the 1950s, was enrolled in the Famous Artists School in Westport, Connecticut.
