Henry Grant Plumb was born 1847 in Sherbourne, New York and died 1930 in New York City. He studied at the National Academy of Design, Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and in Paris with Gerome. He was a Member of the: Salmagundi Club; Artist's Fund Society; and American Federation of Arts.
