| Painter Bertha Noyes was born in Washington, D.C. in 1876. She was a member of many arts groups including three in Massachusetts: the Boston Art Club, Newport Art Association, and Provincetown Art Association; four in Washington, D.C.: Washington Watercolor Club, American Federation of Arts, Washington Society of Artists, and the Arts Group of Washington. She was also a member of the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, New York City. Noyes studied at the Corcoran School of Art, (showing 500 of 957 characters). |
