Landscape painter Jacquelyn Cavish grew up in Tucson, Arizona and earned a BA in Spanish from UCLA and an MFA in painting from UC Santa Barbara. She studied watercolor with Hiroko Yoshimoto and made it her exclusive medium in the 1990's and then turned to acrylics.
She has taught in the art department at Oxnard College in southern California since 1991. In 2003 she began working at the Ventura County Maritime Museum as Curator of Art. Her paintings were purchased by the Carnegie Art Muse (showing 500 of 1962 characters). |
