On 8/26/1962, my in-laws purchased some color etchings from the artist himself in Whitewater, WI.
In
the spring of 1964 my wife and I purchased several black and white
works at Mr. Pescheret's studio in Whitewater, WI. He also demonstrated
to us how he used the copper plates to create an etching. (Although some scholars have put his death date at 1916 ) he was alive
and well in the Spring of 1964.
