The following information was submitted in April of 2006 by Michael Patnode:

Francis (Frank) A. Lydston was born in Newburyport, MA, Oct. 24, 1819, to William and Mary (Collins) Lydston. Frank married Charlotte McDougall, who died in 1852, then married Susan Pettengill in 1853. In 1862, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he did photography, portrait painting, and painted frescos in a number of buildings. He lived in the Milwaukee area until his death on Dec. 20, 1 (showing 500 of 913 characters).
