The following, submitted January 2005, is from James Black, collector of work by the artist who has also done research on Leo Henkora, a social realist painter.
"Information I have obtained from newspaper clip files indicates Henkora also painted murals at the Burleigh County Courthouse at Bismarck, N.D. In his early career, he was a student of prominent Minnesota painter Cameron Booth. Various news clippings from the Minneapolis Tribune and the Minneapolis Journal(showing 500 of 1552 characters). |
