An artist active in both Omaha, Nebraska and New York City, he was known for his magazine illustrations as well as for abstract paintings, one of which caused a lot of controversy in 1964 when it was chosen for an award in the Governor's Invitational Art Show. One of his best known works was a paint-splashed pair of jeans mounted in a collage titled "Omaha-6994."
