Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:

Portrait painter. Born in San Francisco, California in 1870.

Abbott studied in her native city with Warren E. Rollins and Chris Jorgensen.

By 1888 she had established a studio in Los Angeles where she taught portraiture.

Unmarried, she died there on February 17, 1953.
