| Painter, writer. Born in Oslo, Norway on Oct. 23, 1874. Anderson studied at AIC and with Wm M. Chase before settling in southern California in 1910. Primarily a portrait painter, she had an art school in Hollywood and exhibited at various Los Angeles galleries until her death on Sept. 4, 1960.
