Thomas Nozkowski is a painter who creates small-format abstract
paintings and drawings, which even though primarily abstract
expressionist with biomorphic and geometric forms, reference places he
has been and events or objects he has seen. His paintings of
shapes and forms remind us of real life events, yet
are not fully identifiable. He refuses to title his works leading the
viewer to make his own interpretations.
