Born in Galesburg, IL in 1863. Bush studied at the ASL in NYC under Weir, Kenyon Cox, Henri, and T. W. Thayer. After settling in southern California about 1915, she was a resident of Sierra Madre and Los Angeles. She died in Temple City, CA on Dec. 10, 1948. Exh: Alaska-Yukon Expo (Seattle), 1909 (silver medal); PPIE, 1915; Calif. Art Club, 1917-32; LACMA, 1920 (solo); Seattle FA Society, 1920 (award); West Coast Arts, 1921 (1st prize); Calif. Society Min. Painters, 1922-32 (prizes); Cannell (showing 500 of 1026 characters).
