| | Born in Springfield, OH on June 19, 1851. Dora Gamble settled in Los Angeles in 1875 with her sisters Edna and Annie. By the turn of the century she had married James McCollum and appears to have stopped painting to raise a family. She died in Whittier, CA on Dec. 31, 1933. Her rare works include floral still lifes.
