This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| A leading Kentucky etcher and engraver, C. Winston Haberer studied
printmaking techniques under Sudduth Goff, in Louisville, and at the
Chicago Art Institute.
Most of his fine etchings were created during the decade of the Great
Depression (1930-1940) and depict scenes almost wholly within his
native state.
Haberer was a full member of both the Prairie Print Makers and the
Chicago Society of Etchers, and was a regular participant in their
exhibitions. He also served as an advertising illustrator for
Bacons department stores.
