Born in Orebro, Sweden on April 7, 1892. Hammargren studied at the Goteborg Art School and in Paris with Bourdelle. He was a resident of Leonia, NJ until about 1940 and then moved to Los Angeles. He died there on March 4, 1968.
Member: Nat'l Sculpture Society.
Exh: Calif. Art Club, 1947-55 (medals).
