Clifford Jackson (1927 - )
Both a painter and jazz musician, Clifford Jackson established his career as an artist in Scandinavia with his abstract painting in the late 1950s and 1960s. Jackson studied at the Art Students League and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture before being awarded a John Hay Whitney Fellowship in 1957.
The artist moved to Stockholm, where he studied at the Royal Academy of Art.
