The following biographical information has been provided by Elisabeth Ladenson, daughter; with additional information provided by Mario Paone and Dadie Perlov, collectors.
Sam Ladenson (1927-2004)
Early in Ladenson’s career, he painted heavily from nature, focusing especially on grasses, then worked for a while on bottles and jars before moving into collages. Most of the middle and last years of his life he worked primarily on collages. The bulk of his remainin (showing 500 of 2998 characters). |
