| Born in Gouverneur, NY on Jan. 31, 1863. Early in life Cora became the wife of Wm Laidlaw. She painted in the Northwest prior to moving to southern California. In 1915 she settled in San Diego where she studied with Leslie Lee, Alfred Mitchell, and Otto Schneider. She was active in San Diego until her death on May 29, 1940.
