| | Miriam Thomas McCrary was born in Hume, NY on Oct. 4, 1894. Miriam Thomas was educated at Mechanics' Institute in Rochester, NY. She wed Churchill McCrary in 1918 and in 1922 settled in Los Angeles where she taught at Huntington Park High School for 35 years. She died in Los Angeles on May 18, 1986.
