| | Born in Chicago, IL on Dec. 28, 1900. After receiving her M.A. degree from UC Berkeley, Schneider taught art at Chico State College from 1926 to 1956. She later moved to Seattle, WA where she remained until her demise in February 1984. Exh: Santa Cruz Art League, 1934, 1935; Oakland Art Gallery, 1934-53; SFMA, 1935; League of American Pen Women, 1935 (1st prize); SFAA, 1937; Laguna Beach AA, 1944; Calif.
