Eleanore Mikus is known for monochromatic kinesthetic moving surfaces
on canvas, wood, and paper. From 1960-1968, she did paintings
called The Tablets and did Paper Folds from early 1960 to the
present. She continued to create paper folds into monochromatic
kinesthetic moving surfaces and also paintings. A period from
late 1969 to 1981 was her Neo-Expressionist period.
