This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Richard Boyce was born in New York City on June 11, 1920.  Boyce studied at the Boston School of Fine Art.  He taught at Wellesley College, 1953-62; Boston College, 1959-61; University of California, 1961-62.  He died in Los Angeles on November 8, 1976. 

Exhibited:  University of Illinois, 1955, 1967; Art Institute of Chicago, 1960; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, 1964.
