The following is from Ed Fisher, Professor at Averett University, friend
and co-worker:
Carson Davenport taught art for a number of years at Averett College, Danville, VA, and his works hang in the library. Many individuals in the Danville area own his paintings. He painted in watercolors and oils. Davenport spent summers on Chincoteague Island, VA, and many of his paintings were of scenes of the island landscapes.
Carson Davenport was a former art instructor at Averett College (showing 500 of 2286 characters). |
