Biography from Butler Institute of American Art:

Joseph Maxime Clement, born in 1894 in England, was an illustrator.

Upon coming to America he settled in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

Clement was an illustrator for many publications including Collier's, Red Book, This Week, and the New York Herald-Tribune.
