An animal painter, Rogue Simpson depicts cattle, horses, buffalo, antelope, deer and wolves in their natural habitat from her studio in Phoenix, Arizona. She likes to capture moments in the lives of these creatures that people usually don't see. One of her favorite painting locations is Yellowstone National Park.
She works primarily in oil, but her earlier works were done in conte crayon, many of them black and white.
