The following is from Ron Povich:
Carol Wald was an artist from Detroit who also lived in New York.
She
was a student of Sam Sarkis at one point and is survived by her husband
Herman Tauschart with whom she had lived in Burlington, Ontario, Canada
for the last years of her life.
The Butler Museum would be a
source for her biography and purchased one of her paintings while she was with us. She had also been a
member of the Scarab Club, behind the Detroit Institut (showing 500 of 2143 characters). |
