Bill Howard Armstrong was born in Horton, Kansas on Dec. 13, 1926. He attended the University of Illinois (MA) and Bradley University (BA), teaching at both. Between 1955 and 1963 he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is now a Professor Emeritus at Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, MO,
