| Sculptor. Born in Fort Wayne, IN on June 5, 1908.
Jane Fisher grew up in Chicago and began her art studies at the AIC. Initially a painter, she shifted to sculpture after studying with Archipenko.
She married Harold Uliman in 1928 and moved to Los Angeles in 1932. She died there on Oct. 3, 1991. Exh: Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1936 (2nd prize); All Calif.
Exhibition, 1939; Festival of Arts (LA), 1957 (1st prize). In: LA Music Center; Bowers Museum (Santa Ana); USC and UCLA Libraries; Univ. of Chicago; AIC.
