| The following information was submitted by Myra Dorrell: Known for large watercolor multi-object still lives; also for watercolor landscapes, particularly of Cape Cod. Residing in Massachusetts, he was born in Ohio in 1932, graduated from Amherst College in 1955, and had a business career in New York City.
Dorrell has been a full-time artist since the 1970's. He briefly studied at the Art Students League in New York City, and is an exhibiting member of the Provincetown Art Association. His work in many collections in the US and Europe.
