Bernard Rosenquit was born in Romania in l923, and grew up in New York City and studied in France at the Fontainebleau School of Fine Arts and the Institute of Art and Archaeology at the Sorbonne. He also studied in New York at the Brooklyn Museum School of Fine Art, the Art Students League and Atelier 17.
