| A carver of portraits, figures, and animals and also a medallist and creator of memorials and monuments, Domenico Facci did a variety of subjects including religious, political and entertainment figures such as Saint Paul, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, Bob Hope, Lynn Redgrave, and Joan Fontaine. One of his wood carvings, made from cherrywood, is titled "Giraffes", and received the Audubon Award for Sculpture in 1961. His polar bear logo, which is placed in front of the Great Spring's Comp (showing 500 of 1848 characters). |
