| Born in Springbrook, Oregon on May 2, 1906. David studied art with Alexandra Bradshaw at Fresno State College and continued in Los Angeles at Chouinard and Art Center schools. He was a resident of Sacramento in the late 1930s and early 1940s while employed at Weinstock-Lubin Company. By the mid-1940s he was director of J. W. Robinson Company in Los Angeles. He painted regionalist watercolors until the 1950s. After establishing a studio in NYC in 1960, he (showing 500 of 2655 characters). |
