Mary Kloss Daggs was born in Arizona, likely in Ajo, where, at the time of her birth, her father, Peter Paxton Daggs was a mining engineer and owner of the Vekah Silver Mine. Her mother was Annie Laurie Kloss, who in 1905 became a teacher in Claremont, California.
Mary, described as "an accomplished artist with a degree in Art", taught at San Bernadino High School. She died October 22, 1969 in El Cajon, California and is buried in Mausoleum of the Valley in Whittier, Californ (showing 500 of 1049 characters). |
