| | Born in San Francisco, CA on July 26, 1869. Guirard was a supervisor for Pacific T&T and an engraver for the San Francisco Examiner. In his leisure he became a skilled oil painter of landscapes, figures, and marine subjects. He signed his oils "Guirard."
