| | Born in New York in 1894. By 1930 Ohmann had settled in Los Angeles. During the Depression he eked out a living doing pen-and-ink drawings for the tourists on Olvera Street. He later worked in the art departments of various movie studios. He died in Los Angeles on Nov. 4, 1969. | Source:
