| | Born in England on March 2, 1871. Dr. Pittock appears to have moved to California at the turn of the century. He was a resident of Stockton in 1907-10, San Francisco in 1911, Berkeley in 1917, and during the 1930s taught art at Santa Rosa High School. He died in San Leandro, CA on April 3, 1952. His work includes portraits and landscapes a lá George Inness. | Source:
