| | Born in San Francisco, CA on April 9, 1896. Ruth Wetmore studied at the CSFA after graduating from UC Berkeley. She then taught art in the San Francisco public schools until her marriage in 1924 to artist Morley Thompson. After the death of her husband in 1952, she married architect Harold Whitehouse. She died at her home in Berkeley, CA on Oct. 14, 1993.
