Teresita Fernandez is currently working on her largest project, to date, a block long pedestrian bridge for the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle, planned to open in 2006.
The installation artist was born in Miami, Florida and is currently working in Brooklyn. She creates minimal sculptures that are often inspired by earth, water or fire. Her pieces include "Vapor; Vesuvian; Waterfall; Dew; and Lava".
In 1997 the artist had a residency in Japan and in 1999 a fellowship at the Ameri (showing 500 of 846 characters). |
